Warranty
GENERAL POLICY:
Piper Learning, Inc. warrants the Piper Computer Kit product and Piper Make products and widgets, and accessories, to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year for the original invoice date. Shipping and handling fees are to be paid for by the customer. The manufacturer agrees, at its option during the warranty period, to repair any defect in material or workmanship or to furnish a repaired or refurbished product of equal value in exchange without charge (except for a fee for shipping, handling, packing, return postage, and insurance which will be incurred by the customer). Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and proof of purchase as confirmed by showing the model number on original dated sales receipt.
EXCLUSIONS:
In addition to conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship, the Limited Warranty does not cover the following:
- International Orders: Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to offer our one-year warranty for international customers outside out of the US. We offer replacement parts for purchase that can be found under individual products on our Support Page. Piper Learning, Inc. Customer Support may recommend alternatives via local vendors (Amazon International) for off-the-shelf parts that can easily be replaced but we are not responsible for these costs and do not guarantee the quality of these replacement parts, as they are not manufactured by Piper Learning, Inc.
- Shipping and Handling Fees: Within the one-year warranty period, defective products/parts that are eligible for repair or replacement can be exchanged for functional parts. The cost of the replacement parts are covered under warranty; however, shipping and handling costs may apply for the customer.
- Discontinued Products: Piper Learning, Inc. guarantees that replacement parts for products will be available for at least one (1) year from the end-of-life of the product. Product discontinuation information is available on our Support Page.
PROOF OF PURCHASE:
We only offer warranty and replacement parts for Piper products purchased via our website (at playpiper.com) or via our Amazon US Storefront. Piper Learning, Inc. Customer Support will require proof of purchase via sales receipt and photos of model and defects.
Piper products purchased from resellers, whether in the US or international, are not covered under our warranty. We offer replacement parts for purchase that can be purchased by contacting our Customer Service Team, email: hi@playpiper.com.
